Maria Bahr

Assistant Director of GPS


Maria Bahr is an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Director of the General Practice Skills Program for Arizona Summit Law School. She was Director of Lawyer Assistance Programs for the State Bar of Arizona from 2003 to 2009, and prior to that worked for the Alaska Public Defender Agency.

Bahr has been a pro tem Judge for the City of Mesa and has taught in the General Practice Skills (GPS) class at the Arizona Summit Law School since 2007, as well as serving as faculty member for numerous programs in Continuing Legal Education on topics such as ethics, professionalism, and practice management.  Bahr graduated from Harvard University with a BS in History of Science, and received her JD from the UCLA School of Law.
