A law school student doing some classwork.

Arizona Summit Law School celebrates the achievement of outstanding student scholarly work with a Scholarly Writing Award given up to two times during the academic year.

Faculty members nominate student papers they deem to be suitable for publication in a law review or journal for this award.  The Scholarly Writing Award Panel then selects the scholarly work which has been judged as the best of those nominated. The author of the winning paper receives a plaque and the Library funds the submission of the winning paper to 30 law reviews or journals for possible publication through ExpressO. All students are eligible for the award.
